Father's Day 2011

Father's Day is all about fun and celebrations, therefore jokes and good humor should always be included in the celebrations so that it becomes easier to see that lovely smile on your Father's face.

  • When I was a boy of fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be twenty-one, I was astonished at how much he had learned in seven years. - Mark Twain
  • By the time a man realizes that maybe his father was right, he usually has a son who thinks he's wrong.  - Charles Wadsworth
What Is A Dad?

A dad is someone who
wants to catch you before you fall
but instead picks you up,
brushes you off,
and lets you try again.

A dad is someone who
wants to keep you from making mistakes
but instead lets you find your own way,
even though his heart breaks in silence
when you get hurt.

A dad is someone who
holds you when you cry,
scolds you when you break the rules,
shines with pride when you succeed,
and has faith in you even when you fail.

- Unknown

  • "My father gave me the greatest gift anyone could give another person, he believed in me." - Jim Valvano
  • "He didn't tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it." - Clarence Budington Kelland
  • "One father is more than a hundred Schoolmasters." - George Herbert,
